Hyper Japan 2014

November 23, 2014

I almost exclusively now post all my photos to my GreySqrl Facebook Page but I figured that since Hyper Japan would good enough to give me a press pass, I’d return the favour as best I can. So, in case you don’t know, Hyper Japan is THE place to go if you’re interested in any way in Japanese culture. Over three days (twice a year) you can enjoy Japanese food, buy Japanese products, buy Japanese clothes, buy a flight to Japan, play excllent games, try your feet at Dance, Dance Revolution, enjoy a spot of Karate, participate in a Karaoke competition and last and in no way least… see some truly amazing Cosplayers.

Oh.. and POCKY! Lots of Pocky.

Photos below are from Hyper Japan’s 2014 Christmas Market that was held at London’s Olympia. If you missed it, don’t worry Hyper Japan is back in 2015.

If you’d like to follow my work… please head to http://www.facebook.com/greysqrl and like the page.

New place to share

September 27, 2013

Hello all, as you know I’ve not been using wordpress much of late and I’ve not been keeping up with everyone’s blogs. More and more I find that Facebook is a  easier medium to consume artwork. As such I’ve set up a Facebook group for like minded people to share and chat about photography and art. You can find the group by searching for Click & Paint or via me at http://www.facebook.com/nigel.cardozo – I hope to see you there – feel free to invite your friends.

Crunch

February 17, 2013

My first post in quite a while… and something based very much on another idea I saw elsewhere… sadly I forget where. The good thing about this photo is that it taught me that I don’t actually hate Oreos after all.

Since it’s been so long, hope you all had a good Christmas and New Year! 🙂

Bored

December 16, 2012

I’m getting bored of this photoblogging thing… I’m scraping the barrel of photos I’ve taken over the year for posting and I’m soon going to run out. I’ve got a lot of new ideas but very little time (or enthusiasm) for taking more shots. I’m hoping that I’ll feel inspired to take new shots over the short Christmas break.

As always thanks to all of you who always comment, like and visit without fail, your support is much appreciated as are the awesome posts on your own blogs!

This is Nyhavn in Copenhagen. If you love drinking, you’ll like it, if not you’ll get bored pretty quickly.

Juicer

November 4, 2012

It’s been good having a week off work, although I extended that to a week off from running and a week off from posting… (mainly because when I remembered, I couldn’t be bothered) 🙂

Here’s a macro shot of a lemon juicer…

Isle of Wight – Lavender

October 20, 2012

If you’ve never been to the Isle of Wight and are ever nearby (i.e. in Southern England), give it a visit. A weekend is more than enough time to see it, and of course, go in Summer! Within a 30 minute period, one can drive across the island… 🙂 Aside from the beautiful beaches I highly recommend a visit The Garlic Farm, and to the Lavender Farm.

Have a great week 🙂
