Isle of Wight – Lavender

October 20, 2012

If you’ve never been to the Isle of Wight and are ever nearby (i.e. in Southern England), give it a visit. A weekend is more than enough time to see it, and of course, go in Summer! Within a 30 minute period, one can drive across the island… 🙂 Aside from the beautiful beaches I highly recommend a visit The Garlic Farm, and to the Lavender Farm.

Have a great week 🙂

Ink Blot

May 20, 2012

Well honestly, I pointed and shot… no great back story, no amazing tale … just that’s about it.

I have a fear that Summer has gone… last week was pretty good and now it’s back to … well, it’s not raining but it’s not warm either. Come back Summer, I’m missing you.

Virginia Waters

April 29, 2012

There’s been a pleasant spike in visitors recently for which I’m really grateful for. I try to visit the blogs of everyone that leaves a like or comment but, sometimes the likes don’t have links…. Thank you to everyone that visits, and to those that leave  a like or comment, it’s very much appreciated.

After a recent slump today I got back into taking some photos… a new batch… and still a few more ideas to work through next weekend. I tend to do batch photograph, then process them and have a few months worth. Right… right, it’s not ‘right’ but, it works for me… that way I can dedicate some time when I have it… and relax when I don’t.

Have a great week 🙂

Waterfall

January 29, 2012

This is a strange photo for me. It’s a waterfall that I photographed and posted when I started this blog but back then I processed it in black and white. This time I’m leaving it in colour and that, for me, is strange. A friend of mine recently bought a new camera so I took him to this park to get to know his camera better. Waterfall photography, I believe is perfect for learning about ISO, Aperture and all the things I’ve yet to read about in a book 🙂

As always, have a great weekend.. 🙂
