Gearbox

July 29, 2012

I recently visited the London Motor Show, a free event held in Canary Wharf (the banker’s district)! A lot of cars that I have no intention of buying but, a great open gearbox in the Aston Martin showroom presented me with the opportunity to get a cool photograph. I’m pleased with this, it came out nice and sharp despite the handheld shot.

Been a tiring few days full of studying but, this week I get to go to the Olympic tennis at Wimbledon (scummy organisers seem to not want SLR’s to be brought in), and today I managed to get some tickets to Paralympic football at the Olympic stadium. Quite excited 🙂

Have a great week 🙂

Not traffic lights

Wow.. finally a summery weekend… lovely. Took the family on a surprise trip to the Isle of Wight this weekend and what a great place it is. An amazing amount of things to do considering the place is so small. Nice to finally see the sun shining… 🙂

The photo below is based upon an idea I found on Flickr… or somewhere else. It’s not perfect, and I can see how to improve it but.. ah… there you go…

Have a great week 🙂

This beautiful building can be found in Canary Wharf. I have no idea what it is, or who works in there… but it’s worthy of a photo..

Have a great week 🙂

The Swarm

Pencils are wonderful subjects to work with. They’re beautiful, they generally stay in place and they’re silent.

Have a great week 🙂

I do like ring doughnuts (donuts for my American readers) 😉 , but these with a little icing and hundreds and thousands… yes please!

Have a great week 🙂
