Isle of Wight – Lavender

If you’ve never been to the Isle of Wight and are ever nearby (i.e. in Southern England), give it a visit. A weekend is more than enough time to see it, and of course, go in Summer! Within a 30 minute period, one can drive across the island… Aside from the beautiful beaches I highly recommend a visit The Garlic Farm, and to the Lavender Farm.

These beautiful lavender flowers, I’ve very pleased to say, are growing beautifully in my garden. I need to get more! My aim is to create a nice little place for the bees and butterflies to come, eat, thrive and be photographed
