End of Summer

September 2, 2012

I was luckily enough to go to the Olympic Park yesterday to see the paralympic football. Sadly team GB did not do very well but, it was an enjoyable day anyhow.

Hope you guys have all enjoyed the olympics and are enjoying the paralympics.

Have a great week :)

trismile

February 8, 2011

This is the final picture that I entered into the ‘smiles’ competition.  It’s called tri smile NOT because it’s a triptych photo but, because it’s made up of three different people’s smiles, Joshua, Michelle and Elliot, or maybe Elliot, Michelle and then Joshua. I can’t figure it out anymore!

The quality isn’t brilliant but then again, it was taken on an iPhone (3GS… so, no fancy flash or anything ;) ) with very poor lighting. The triptych was created using the diptych iPhone app.

I better pick up my camera if I’m going to have anything to post next week!

Have a great week…

The (Keeping it Real) Thing.

July 22, 2010

So, here’s a couple of odd photos taken with my iPhone. Basically, I used Hipstamatic to take the second image. Nothing clever, just pointed and clicked in  a position I liked. After that I pushed it through PhotoShop Mobile and got the Warhol type image. That’s about it. Hope you like it. :)

I’m scheduling this in advance. My four year old is just finishing his bout of chicken pox, now the youngest has it :( and, I think I’ve got it. Still, at least it’s better to get it now, at the same time as the him, rather than after he finishes! It’s good to get it before I reach my mid-30s, right? :p :D I have no interest in a Summer of Pox . :D So, I may be a bit slow with posts, answering/approving and posting comments… but I’ll try my best!

Hipstamatic Cola Calendar

July 10, 2010

After looking at the various and great photography blogs on WordPress, I decided to downloaded Hipstamatic to help me make some unique photos :) With the correct ‘film’ I can create wonderful ‘old’ looking and kooky abstract pictures :) These are some of the photos I’ve taken and for some odd reason, I love it. The colours of the photos remind me of my childhood. Nostalgia is a wonderful thing isn’t it?

This is the first time I’ve published from my iPhone so I’m not sure how it’ll turn out!

Gradient Sky

September 9, 2009

This is the first photo I’ve taken where I thought about the power of the sky. I’m fond of it because of that. It lacks a subject sure, but it’s still pretty.
