Cycles in Copenhagen

I recently visited Copenhagen and three things really stood out for me.

1) People there like to cycle

2) People there love to smoke (strange considering the cycling, I felt)

3) People there love hot dogs

So, I’ve been engaging in improving my health lately… cutting down on the bad stuff, increasing the good stuff and doing my best to exercise more. A friend pointed me towards fitocracy.com – If you exercise but need motiviation, give it a go. You get points for exercising, and motivation from other people. With a variety of groups to join you can get targeted motivation, and, it’s free. If you do join, I’m on there as greysqrl – feel free to add me. Yesterday afternoon I did a 5k run… awesome. Yesterday evening I made a home made hot fudge desert… – balance restored…

Toothbrush

I’ll be honest here… I DO judge books by their covers, if the cover looks good, I’ll pick it up, have a flick through, read the blurb and that’ll be the decider on whether I’ll read it or not. Same with toothbrushes – I buy ones that look good to me… I wonder if anyone else does…

Somewhat flat oranges… but, they tasted good.

One of the greatest things about food/drink photography is eating the model…

So, I know, this isn’t the greatest photo in the world and didn’t exactly turn out as I wanted to… but, hey, I got 4th place in the refreshing comp with this, 2nd with the lemonade collage and 1st with the previous ice and a slice 7up free post so.. what the heck, thought I’d post it anyway…

For anyone else that is trying to quit high sugar drinks but misses the fizz… here’s a recommendation, sparking water (the cheap stuff from your supermarket is fine) and a little bit of squash… works a treat.

Ice and a slice

I love Wildflowers… if I owned a huge field and could be bothered to… I’d fill it with wildflowers..

End of Summer

I was luckily enough to go to the Olympic Park yesterday to see the paralympic football. Sadly team GB did not do very well but, it was an enjoyable day anyhow.
